Just another small job - a brand new ceiling light for the customer's dining room!

Our client had recently moved into their new house just under a year ago, and on their todo list was a replacement ceiling light for their dining room!

A seemingly simple job, but you never know. We identified the switch line, dropped the old glass light down intact, bypassed the dimmer and got our r1r2 readings. We checked out the incomer protective device and had a wander to find the main protective earthing that goes to the water and gas, both clamped on nice and tight!

We then headed back to reduce the chain length to be more suitable for the lights environment, installed the new bracket up, fitted the light, gave it a little polish.... And, of course, we caulked the light and the dimmer to remove the little shadows!
