A recent bathroom extractor install for a client in Coxheath

Bathroom extractor fans are our favourite - and best - service we offer, without a shadow of a doubt. There's just something about putting in an extractor fan that is unmatchable that solves our clients problems. And the praise and gratitude we get off the back of these projects is hands down the best thing ever.

To say unmatchable really isn't an overstatement. This is our fourth winter season where we are leaning into the full swing of extractor fan issues, and year on year, project by project, we've been quietly tweaking our designs to see what works best -

What gives the best extractor fan performance
What gives the lowest extractor fan noise

We have thought about...

The model we need to use
The ducting we need to use
The connections we need to do
The positions of vents to the alignment of the fan
The inclusion of backdraught valves and wind stopping ability
When and when not to use rigid ducting
The size of the internal vent - we improved our systems so much, our original set of vents started whistling due to the increased airflow! So we upped the size of the internal vent.
The vertical gain and length of the ducting run - does a trap need to be installed?
The moisture load of the property - will the customer benefit from an override switch?

And probably one of the most important design features to think about, which surprising incorporated a lot of the properties above...
What do we need to do to ensure the the extractor fan doesn't start leaking under maximum moisture load?

This is a bathroom extractor fan we recently installed in Coxheath, Maidstone.

Alhough this may not look like much... But under the hood is where the real magic is happening.

This is an extractor fan that used an already existing hole in the bathroom ceiling, with an upgraded internal vent.
The extractor fan has been optimised for airflow by reducing bends
Every connection on this system has a tri-layer feature to make sure the system doesn't blow apart under the increased air pressures
The whole length of ducting is ran as insulated, and then double insulated

You'd be very surprised how easily things can start becoming issues (and resulting in upset customers) if these kinds of things aren't thought about and implemented.

Which is why our clients choose the leading extractor fan and ventilation specialists in Kent - Techmeisters Ltd. Drop us a line on 01622 277 321.

I must warn you, this stuff isn't cheap - but it is bombproof! And genuinely the best on the market by a wide margin.
